I’m a freelance writer based in Atlanta. Here’s some of the marketing and editorial work I’ve loved creating.

Selected Work

  • Kanazawa, Japans

    Journey to Japan with IHG

IHG Hotels & Resorts secured a 2-page ad in National Geographic and the traffic was coming…but our outdated landing page wasn’t ready. I quickly rewrote it, and, voila! Ready for her close-up.

  • Astra Suites Santorini

IHG x Mr & Mrs Smith

It was a match made in heaven: IHG partnered with Mr & Mrs Smith boutique hotel curators to offer members more places to stay and earn. I wrote a landing page and banners introducing the new “it” couple.

  • Hotel Indigo Lower East Side New York

    IHG Luxury & Lifestyle

Print, digital, social, email, partner, billboard, blog — every type of ad for every stripe of luxury traveler. InterContinental, Hotel Indigo, and EVEN Hotels were a few of the brands I wrote for at IHG.

  • IHG One Rewards

For four years of my tenure at IHG, my primary focus was bringing IHG’s loyalty program to life, through a rebrand and many, many global campaigns. Here’s a sampling of my copywriting contributions.

  • Cocktail

    Forbes Travel Guide

As a senior editor, I covered luxury hotel, restaurant, and spa trends for both Forbes Travel Guide and Forbes. Here are a few favorite clips from my portfolio. Hope you’re hungry for some Five-Star food recos.

  • New Zealand mountains

    Travelocity

During my time editing IgoUgo, Travelocity's user review site, my contributions included regular blog posts as well as newsletters, ads, and radio and print interviews. Here are a few of my most-read clips.

  • CU Boulder Campus

    Off The Quad

In my start-up era, I oversaw national and local content for all editions of Off The Quad’s daily emails. This included writing the national edition—an edgy lifestyle article for college students—each day.

  • Ski lift

    Fodor's

Travel tips with a luxe lean were my specialty as a freelance contributor covering ski trips, sunny sojourns, family adventures, and European getaways. There are worse ways to use a journalism degree.
